First, sorry that I didn't blog yesterday. I'm coaching the Tier 3 boys basketball team and they had their first game right after school. The boys player a fantastic game! There were lots of passes, moving to the ball, rebounds and drives to the hoop. It was very exciting and they started the season with a win. Fun!
Homework:
Math: Wall Math (Fri)
Socials: all notes should be collected by tomorrow
the students will have the weekend free of Socials homework (unless not finished
collecting notes) and we'll start writing the drafts of the journal on Monday
French: quiz on Monday on conjugating a regular 'er' verb (students have all the notes
needed to review and practice this process)
Reading: memorized poem presentations start on Monday
practice in front of your pets, stuffies, a mirror or an adult - I'll be listening for
appropriate pauses, a good tempo (not too fast or too slow), good voice
projection and good enunciation
Skiing Trip:
Students need snow pants, gloves, a toque, warm coat (maybe a hoodie underneath in case they want to take their coat off), boots, an extra pair of socks, a water bottle, a healthy snack and a fairly big lunch. We are going to work up an appetite!!
Drivers: We will be leaving the school between 8:45 and 9:00. We do have enough drivers. If any parent would like to opt out of this field trip tomorrow, just email me and I'll let you know if it will work. If all parents come we can always have parents carpool together, if they want to.
